West Ham United striker Frederic Piquionne is reportedly poised to join
Doncaster Rovers. The Hammers forward is out of favour after they signed
Ricardo Vaz Te and Nicky Maynard last week during the transfer window.
Piquionne and John Carew have both been close to leaving Upton Park in the
last fortnight and the 33-year-old looks as though he is heading to the
Championship strugglers.

Frederic Piquionne is ready to join Doncaster's French revolution. The West
Ham striker, 33, was wanted by Martin O'Neill at Sunderland during the
transfer window and attracted interest from Wolves and Auxerre. However, he
is expected to link up on loan with friend and former Lyon team-mate Lamine
Diatta at Doncaster.
