Nigel Quashie is in line to make his return from injury this evening when
Kevin Keen's reserves travel to Fulham.
The Scotland midfielder has been out of action since hurting his ankle on
just his seventh appearance for the first team against Tottenham Hotspur
last March. In a youthful squad, only John Pantsil, Jonathan Spector and
Kyel Reid have had regular first-team experience. Keen's side were 1-0
winners against Tottenham in their last outing a fortnight ago. From that
lineup, James Tomkins could continue his return from a shoulder injury in
central defence, possibly alongside fellow England youth international
Jordan Spence, while reserve-team captain Jack Collison should figure in
central midfield.
Kick-off is at 7pm at Motspur Park. Return to whufc.com later tonight for a
match report.
