West Ham United are delighted to confirm that Glynn Snodin is to join the
Club as First Team Coach.

Glynn, 47, is leaving his post as First Team Coach at Championship side
Southampton to team up again with Alan Curbishley, whom he worked under as
Reserve Team Coach at Charlton Athletic for six years.

The former Doncaster Rovers, Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United defender
will begin work in his new role on Monday (July 2), when the players return
to Chadwell Heath to begin pre-season training.

Glynn also holds a part-time coaching post with Northern Ireland, a role he
stepped into following the appointment of Nigel Worthington as National Team
Coach recently.

Manager Alan Curbishley says: "I am delighted to welcome Glynn to West Ham
United and I am sure he will become a valuable member of the coaching staff
here.

"Glynn worked with me at Charlton for six years, during which time he led
the reserve team to two league titles, and he will bring many qualities to
the Club, both as a coach and a person.

"I look forward to starting work with him again on Monday and wish him a
long and successful career at West Ham United."

Further announcements regarding the coaching and backroom staff at Upton
Park will be made in due course.
