Have you ever dreamed about playing alongside a West Ham legend?
Fancy testing your skills against former Premier League stars? Or, would you like to gain some valuable sporting tips from a former England international?

On Sunday 24th March, corporate football events company, Awayday Football is giving you the chance to do just that by hosting a special, one-off match that will see a Julian Dicks XI take on a Dean Ashton XI – with teams made up of you, the fans!

Awayday Football organises football-based coaching and playing experiences, tailored to motivate your workforce. Through the help of former-professionals and top flight coaches, each programme is created to match the needs of your company – helping find what really motivates your staff.

And as a one-off, we will be holding this special day to show just what we can do. Hosted at Barnet FC’s brand new luxury training facility – The Hive London, which was recently used by Brazil prior to their game against England in early February. This exclusive event takes place on Sunday, 24th March from 12pm to 4pm.

The day begins with an introduction to both Dean and Julian, where you are also be allocated to one of their teams. This is swiftly followed by a one-hour coaching session with your pro, where you gain an insight into their football knowledge. Designed as a fun-based session, players with all levels of fitness will enjoy, and benefit from ,spending time with our great team of dedicated coaches and ex-pros.

Not only are Julian Dicks & Dean Ashton in attendance but if you are a goalkeeper, you can benefit from some top GK coaching from former West Ham & Walsall shot-stopper Jimmy Walker who will also there on day!

You then get a chance to rest up during lunch, when Dean, Julian & Jimmy host a Q & A session – giving you another chance to quiz them on their careers.

After lunch it's time for kick off!

The match is 60 minutes long, split into 15 minute quarters and is 11 v 11 on a full-size astroturf pitch with an FA-licensed referee taking charge.

Each team has substitutes - but it's roll on/roll off and we ensure that EVERYONE gets equal game time - so don't worry about being brought on in the 59th minute as a time wasting tactic!
At full-time, the day is rounded off with an awards ceremony, as well as the opportunity to have your picture taken with Dean, Julian & Jimmy.

With just 28 places available, this informal experience is one not to be missed by die-hard football fans. Although the minimum participation age is 14, we welcome players of all abilities and genders.

The cost of the event per person is just £115, which includes lunch and refreshments on arrival. On payment, your place is secured immediately, and you receive both a payment confirmation and more information on what you need on the day.
